Effective July 4, 2026. This site is published by Chariton Media for the book The Dead Man’s Guide to Estate Planning. Here’s everything it does with information about you; it’s a short list.

What we collect

If you request the free chapter, we collect the email address you enter, the date, and which page you signed up from. Like nearly every web server, ours also keeps standard technical logs (IP address and browser type) that we use only to keep the site running and to block abuse.

That’s it. No cookies, no analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no third‑party embeds. Purchases happen on Amazon under Amazon’s privacy policy; we never see your payment details.

How we use your email

To send you the free chapter and occasional notes from Patrick Nolan about new books, guides, and related projects from Chariton Media. Expect one or two emails a month at most.

What we never do

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your email address. We don’t share it with anyone outside Chariton Media and the service providers that deliver our email.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also just reply to any email, or write to pnolan@nemolegal.com, and we’ll remove you promptly.
